OUR BEGINNINGS WERE HUMBLE

Welcome to HP Farms, your local rural pumpkin patch situated just outside the charming town of Chebanse, Illinois. Established in 2016 as Nik Hanson's SAE project for FFA, HP Farms has blossomed into a beloved destination for pumpkin enthusiasts of all ages.
From humble beginnings, our pumpkin patch started small, spanning a mere 25 ft x 50 ft. However, over the past six years, we have undergone remarkable growth. We now boast a sprawling 25 ft x 175 ft patch, along with multiple additional patches dedicated to cultivating a diverse range of pumpkins.
While initially limited in our variety offerings, our collection has expanded exponentially in the last four years. At HP Farms, you'll discover a treasure trove of unique pumpkins and gourds, setting us apart as one of the area's premier pumpkin patches.
No matter what size pumpkin you desire, we have you covered. Our selection includes an array of options, from the tiniest pumpkins to small, medium, large, XL, and XXL varieties.

In 2020, we introduced an exciting contest for our visitors—the "Guess the Weight" competition, centered around our heaviest pumpkin in the patch. It has become a thrilling and engaging experience, where participants can take their chances at winning the grand prize: a truly enormous pumpkin.
As HP Farms continued to evolve, 2020 marked the year when we expanded beyond pumpkins alone. We started offering homemade pickles and jelly, adding a delightful touch to our offerings. Building on this success, 2021 witnessed further diversification as we introduced homemade tomato sauce, popcorn, jelly pickles, eggs, hay bales, mums, and a range of merchandise to our lineup.
